Kapseret member of parliament Oscar Sudi is back at it again days after being grilled for incitement.
The MP now wants trade unions boss Francis Atwoli to explain deeply what he meant by saying that deputy president William Ruto will not be on the ballot paper come 2022.
He has asked Atwoli to tell Kenyans whether there is a plan of assassinating the deputy president.
Sudi has also called upon Francis Atwoli to also tell Kenyans exactly how former Kabete Constituency member of parliament George Muchai died.
Muchai was murdered alongside his two bodyguards – police constables Samuel Kimathi and Samuel Lekakeny – and his driver Stephen Ituu on the night of February 6, 2015, on Kenyatta Avenue in Nairobi County. He was also Francis Atwoli’s deputy in Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU).
Atwoli on Saturday, April 13, 2019, said that the name of deputy president William Samoei Ruto will not be on the ballot box come 2022.
Atwoli who seemed to be angered by how Ruto uses youthful leaders to abuse ODM Party leader Raila Odinga calling him “mganga” said there is no way Ruto can lead this country.
“I want you to take your pen and write down. 2022 Kenya will go to a general election to elect a president. We will overwhelmingly vote peacefully because we will have changed the constitution. And who will be elected president, Deputy president, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister and the others you will elect them. And I want to tell you one thing, the name of William Samoei Ruto will not be on the ballot box. You can take it to the bank,” Atwoli told the thunderous crowd.
Atwoli added that those were not his words but those of God the creator of heaven and earth.
He also claimed that Ruto abuses the Kenyan youth by taking advantage of their situation. He gave an example of Ruto’s Weston Hotel where he alleged that the deputy president pays his workers a mere Ksh 20,000, the highest paid.
Atwoli was speaking at a fundraiser in Lamu attended by Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, Hon. Mishi Mboko-Likoni, Hon Catherine Wambilyanga -Bungoma, Hon Godfrey Osotsi-Nominated MP, Hon Ashu Mohammed -Mombasa, Hon Beatrice Elachi-Speaker Nairobi County, Hon Eva Obara- Kasipul Kapondo among others.
