“Nywele ni akili,” Wavinya Ndeti leaves Kenyans in stitches again!

Former Machakos County gubernatorial candidate Wavinya Ndeti has done it again!

After her famous “yaliyo ndwele sipite” remark, Wavinya today has come up with another sensation.

The chairperson of the governing council of Kenya Water Institute (KEWI), has confirmed that Kiswahili is not ‘her language’.

Now it is clear that the former Kathiani member of parliament has never been familiar with Swahili proverbs (methali).

Wavinya who took to her Facebook page to let Kenyans know that education does not lead to the eradication of stupidity, left many in stitches with the ‘methali’ that followed.

She posted “There is one thing I have come to understand and know in life “KUSOMA SIO MWISHO WA UJINGA”. Nywele ni akili, Kila mtu anazake”.

The ‘methali’ should be ‘akili ni nywele, kila mtu ana zake’ and not the other way round.
