Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua today met with the members of the County Assembly of Machakos to discuss development projects for each of the wards they represent.
Led by Speaker Hon. Florence Mwangangi and the assembly leadership, the members discussed how working together, they can provide Chap Chap development for Machakos people.
The meeting was also attended by senior officers from Machakos county government led by the assembly ministers. Mutua said the days of acrimony and infighting are now an issue of the past.
“We committed to work together and solve our issues internally.
Our people are tired of infighting and which has affected development .
I believe that we are on the right track because we are focused on helping our people and fulfilling our election pledges .
I thank the members for deliberating and passing the Supplementary Budget that will allow us fix roads, dig more dams and boreholes and provide bursaries among many other development focused plans.
I am very pleased by the commitment and intelligence of our members of the assembly.
We are one team and nothing can hinder our God given work to serve the electorate selflessly.” Mutua said
The county boss invited the members to visit his office any time and share ideas or alert him on issues he needs to be aware of for action.
