Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has left Kenyans in stitches with his rib-cracking comment on Meru Senator Mithika Linturi’s bedroom prowess.
The Governor was responding to an article by The Star in which they wrote about comments by Linturi’s wife in court.
Linturi’s estranged wife Marianne Kitany exposed his bedroom ability in an affidavit filled in court.
Sonko felt it was wrong for The Star to publish such an article since no one was present in the couple’s bedroom during that material night.
Taking to Facebook, the Nairobi Governor said Linturi should take them (The Star) to court and they will compensate him with “good money”
He wrote “This is nonsense of the highest order and totally unacceptable. The star is becoming a gutter press day by day. We shall not allow them to publish bedroom stories of other men with their wives. Which journalist was present in their bedroom during that material night. Shenzi nyinyi. Linturi take them to court this is good money. And since your matrimonial residence is in Nairobi I shall be an amicus curiae in this case on probono. Musidharau wanaume to that extent na hata tukizeeka. God gave us tongues and fingers.”
The Star had quoted Ms Kitany’s affidavit reading “Linturi was unable to rise to the occasion in the bedroom on several occasions, claiming exhaustion, sickness, but for most of the part he simply could not.”
