Ban corrupt individuals from accessing your countries, governor Mutua tells US and EU

Machakos Governor has today called on the US and European Union and other developed nations to use their databases to unveil, name and shame the corrupt individuals in Kenya.

He asked them to take a stand on corruption and make it hard for them to hide monies in the developed countries. The governor urged the countries not to allow Kenya taxpayers to fund the lifestyles of the children and families of these corrupt individuals abroad while Kenyans remain languishing in poverty.
The governor was speaking at the opening of the new Mars Wrigley Confectioneries plant at Athi River.
Also present at the event was Trade cabinet secretary Peter Munya, American Ambassador Kyle McCarter and senior representatives from the Mars Wrigley Headquarters in Chicago.
