Ukambani Gospel artist Stephen Kasolo shocked many after walking out of County FM studios in Kitui following a heated interview which came few days after winning Groove Awards 2019.
Kasolo who won the Eastern Counties song of the year with his new song ‘Kyaa Kya Ngai’ seemed angered by how the local radio station was biased during the Groove Awards voting process alleging that they supported a certain artist from Makueni County.
He argued that as a Kamba radio station, they could have been neutral rather than supporting someone.
Kasolo also slammed his fellow Gospel artists who were nominated for the award for failing to support him when he was announced the winner. He argued that they could have congratulated him if they are true servants of God.
He also bragged that the award will stay in Kitui County after winning it four times.
Kasolo also lectured the radio presenter saying he supported her when she had an event but when he added her to his WhatsApp group for his album launch she kept quiet because she was supporting a Makueni artist.
He claimed that the host together with her fellow journalists spoke ill of him on social media after winning the award and welcomed them for the celebration of the award at Kitui Bus Park Grounds.
He ended by saying that he will continue winning more awards, thanked God for the win and walked out of the radio station.
